Jane Krakowski is an American actress. Best known for playing Elaine Vassal on the television series Ally McBeal, Krakowski has also appeared in movies such as National Lampoon's Vacation, F...( read more) (where she played Betty Rubble), Marci X, Alfie, and Pretty Persuasion. Krakowski is currently a member of the cast of 30 Rock, a sitcom based loosely on the behind-the-scenes environment of Saturday Night Live. In addition to film and television, Krakowski has earned success on the stage, appearing in the 1989 Broadway musical Grand Hotel as the typist and would-be-film-star Flaemmchen. In January of 2002, Windham Hill Records released a Jim Brickman album entitled Love Songs & Lullabies featuring Jane as a vocalist for the song "You". In 2003, she starred in the Broadway revival of Nine for which she won the Tony Award for Best Actress. In 2005, she starred alongside Ewan McGregor in the new production of Guys and Dolls in London, at the Piccadilly Theatre.
