MCT:November 15, 2008Rambo, Stallone, Ugh. Watch it ladies it's one of his best. John J goes on a one man revenge spree, killing and maiming some instantly dislikable cops, hicks and hickcops. Who would have thought that over 20 years later he would be standing for President with one of those very same hicks standing with him as his VP. You crazy Americans.

This movie was a trend setter in its time and much superior to Schwarzenegger's Commando whcih i saw side by side. IT si not aonly an action packed film, it is also an examanation of the harshness of war and what it does to people.

MCT:October 24, 2008Unlike Cosmatos' propaganda action flick,First Blood is a witty commentary on the fear and loathing in the middle of nowhere,in this occasion,of the police force.I dare say i despise Rambo as a figure,but that's not the reason I will never watch any of the sequels.Successful best-seller,a tragic hero,a must for guys and buddies.An inconsistent predator causing mayhem.Oh well,I still believe the revenge theme should have a more intelligent writer.Chaotic such is Stallone as Rambo,the nutcracker.

A ridiculous premise with an amazing blood bath is what Rambo is all about. And the original does not fail to deliver.

The way stallone bursted out of prison was great.Galt thinks he was it but he got killed bya rock.weren't so tough were you galt.Remember the name JOHN RAMBO

as an avid action movie fan, ive had more then my fair share of good and bad movies. this is one of the greatest action movie i ever saw. it does a nice job of balancing the drama and gratuitious violence. ive seen all 3 rambo movies, and this one sticks out as being the best. shame they dont make movies like this anymore.
