MCT:August 26, 2008An extremely silly film about a guru hired to turn the fate of a hockey team around. Some funny moments, but overall, pretty stupid. Only saw it because it features my beloved Maple Leafs!

MCT:August 23, 2008Hardly theMyers movie i hoped for some jokes are funny but fails to entertain wholly, he basically does his old schtick, only in a new disguise, theres hisusual kick-in-the balls jokes featuring mini-me, sorry, Troyerhard to really believe Jessica Alba would fancy mr Pitka, but oh well it´s a movie anyhow :). Sure to be the cold turkey this year, sorry Myers, better luck next time. Austin Powers 4 is more than welcome as it´s more about his best creation Dr Evil than Powers self. Oh and Timberlake? cut the comedy and do what you are better at - dramatic roles, you are unfunnily cringe-inducing.

i really had high hopes for this but it didn't turn out as funny as i hoped it would be. There were some parts that were repetitive.. and some parts that werent funny at all. but overall, its a fun movie to watch when you have nothing to do. the greatest parts in the movie were the indian dance scenes and the morgon freeman voiceovers. lol. o yea and justin was great!

Very funny, tasteless humor.
If you've seen the previews, you have a pretty good idea of what you'll see. There are a few celebrity cameos. Justin Timberlake's character is outrageously funny.
Warning: Some scenes are disgusting, such as one involving urine being flung around. Also, there are lots of insults and jokes at the expense of the "height challenged" Verne Troyer. -

You know, it's bad, but not entirely awful. Typical Mike Myers style comedy. Most of the laughs come from the actors in movie pretending to find Myers' jokes amusing Timberlake's character was pretty funny though.

MCT:August 11, 2008I think I laughed once in this movie which was "Hello and welcome to Dell. Chip speaking." And this was meant to be a comedy? Didn't impress.
Mike Myers plays the Guru Pitka. A love guru. And to beat his rival Guru he has to get on Oprah, and to do that he must get Toronto's hockey player back with his wife.
So some stuff happens and gets really boring and I lost interest. I liked his Indian friend though. He was actually funnier that anyone else in this.
So do not bother watching this. It was utterly awful and should not be considered as a comedy. Done. =) -

Not as bad as everyone says it is. All the jokes and the actual story was really good I thought. Myers still at his best, Alba said little, looked hot and JT was pretty funny, even though I don't really like him.

I didn't like Mike Myers in this movie. I liked it when he played Austin Powers, but not this one. I think Jim Carrey would be a so much better Guru Pitka. But I gotta admit that the "trademark quotes" were so hillarious.. and there were some inspiring quotes too... hahahaha... :D

I really think that this movie is A must if your A mike myers fan at all This movie kept me laughing through the whole damn thing it's A great comedy with very little wrong with it beside Albas bad acting which you can really see in this film but it's not Perfect movie but it's better than average so if you like mike myers or to me if you just like funny movies this is A def must see comedy of 2008

There were like one or two decent jokes mixed in with about 200 bad ones. I liked all the little Canadian quirky hockey jokes, but ultimately this was just a pretty bad movie. But if you're as big as a Leaf fan as I am... you should watch it just to see them hoist the cup... Once...

Myers is pretty funny in this movie. Alba looks amazing. I cant believe im gonna say it, but Timberlake was actually very funny in this movie. Not bad. Worth a look when it comes out on video.

This movie was terrible; absolutely horrible. I like Mike Myers and loved Wayne's World and Austin Powers but this was a complete and utter disaster. I literally sat through this waiting and telling myself, "this is Mike Myers, Austin Powers, it just has to get better". Do not waste your time or you will be kicking yourself as I am.
