Diane Lane is amazing. This film is so much better than I thought it would be... I think I was expecting a ''Hostel'' like film, and this was much more terrifying than constant blood and gore. Minus the poor cat, I really liked this film!! It was brilliant, thrilling, and non stop.
I thought this was a pretty good movie. The cinematography was pretty good, the idea was well thought-out and it kept me suspensed until the end. It missed something though, but I can't quite put my finger on it.
VERY WELL DONE, SAW-LIKE TRAPS. BUT I HOPE THAT PEOPLE REALIZE THAT SHIT LIKE THIS HAPPENS, WHY DO SICKOS INSIST ON WATCHING SNUFF AND SUCH. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. NOT TO MENTION THE UPLOADERS.
Untraceable is very predictable in a traditional thriller way, the story is trying to be all modern withthe use of computer technology but stills ends up being nothing new. The performances are adequate but i'd say this is a rental or watch on tv movie rather than a cinema veiw.
This movie was okay, but I felt that some of the scenes were excessively violent and too gore-filled for my taste. It was fine to watch once, but I have no interest in seeing it again.
A pretty decent thriller that suffers from some contrivances. It also comes across as being a little self important and preachy in its attempts to capture the zeitgeist of our (as this movie would have you believe) "torture-porn" crazy culture.
I thought this one was very thrilling and interesting to watch.......these types of thrillers always have you trying to guest who the bad guy is from the moment it comes on......this was no different. The crimes that this guy commits are some of the worst I have seen they are purely torture on the part of the victom at the hands of the public........A must see.
Some of the parts were so gory that I had to look away. It was a good movie, but it's sad that Owen had to die. I guess he deserved it, but still. Owen is still the hottest one out of all of the actors in the movie. Luv yeah, Joe! :D
This was a good film, It's similar to saw but without the cleverness.Pretty gory in parts.I thought the idea was good because everyone is the murderer.I also like Diane Lane as an Actress
I love love love this movie ! I'm actually very obsessed with it, lol. I really like Owen(the killer), I know that sounds crazy but he's really hott ! This is an amazing movie, and I recomment everyone to see it. It's a 5/5 for me :)
Good Movie! Diane Lane is believable as the FBI agent. Liked the premise of the internet site and how people just click on sites no matter what they are for!
I have to say that I actually liked this movie. I didn't really like the beginning and how the kitty kat got tortured even though you couldn't really tell that anything had been done, I still didn't like having that image in my head. I did like the fact that it was set in Portland, Oregon and how they showed great parts of Portland like the Rose Garden (hehe). I live not too far from Portland so the fact that it was shot there made it feel kind of creepy in a way because I actually felt that something like that could happen here. I also liked the characters. I like Diane Lane and thought she did a good job of portraying a Cyber Crimes lady. I also love Colin Hanks and I didn't like what happened to him in the end. This movie kind of reminded me of Saw in a way because in a sick and twisted way the guy that is setting up these murders is not actually killing the people. It's the people on the internet that are watching the gruesome acts that are doing the killing if you think about it. I thought it was a good plot and I liked it.
While I did enjoy this movie, there were plenty of moments I had to look away. I just cannot justify watching people tortured and killed even though I understand it isn't real in the movie context. Sadly this is something that really happens because for some reason we humans are vastly entertained by someone elses misery. I also found it odd that the movie depicts graphic violence against people but when it is a kitten they only allude to the fact that it is killed. Are we so desensitized that killing people is deemed ok but killing animals is atrocious? Hollywood has been on this torture movie concept for a while now. I never fully understood the attraction. It saddens and frightens me to think that we could be responsible for someone dying simply for the sake of entertainment. The storyline was full of cliches imo. Aside from the various horrific methods of torture I could pretty much see where the movie was heading. I read another comment stating it was hypocritical for the movie to make us feel guilty for watching torture and then proceed to show us these scenes in great detail. I agree with that. I found the end to be a little anticlimactic. It is worth a watch but it left me feeling a little sick about the state of our world.
Hmmm... right, so this was actually a good idea i thought but just didn't seem terribly well executed. Some of the science relating to what this 'hacker' could do was just nonsense. It was just about entertaining for 90 mins but i probably wouldn't watch it again.
There are worse movies out there. Althought the only reason it didn't get half a star is because the story is original. It was so slow and unecessarily explicitly gory and grusome. And did I mention slow?
I enjoyed this movie though it was a little predictable it still held my interest through the whole movie. Diane Lane was awesome as usual and the rest of the cast worked their parts very well.

This movie was really good and better then I thought it would be. It looked like a good film but it surpassed my expectations. I don't know one film that I liked Diane Lane in but now I have one. This is definitely a must see for Thriller movie lovers.
Not bad. Good idea with decent death scenes, although a tad too predictable for the type of thriller it's trying to be. Check it out if you've got nothing better to do.
