Actress Helen Hunt is making her feature film directorial debut on "Then She Found Me," starring herself, Colin Firth, Bette Midler and Matthew Broderick.
The story revolves around a New York schoolteacher (Hunt), who hits a midlife crisis when, in quick succession, her husband (Broderick) leaves, her adoptive mother dies and her real one (Midler), an eccentric talk show host, materializes and turns her life upside down as she begins a courtship with the father (Firth) of one of her students.
The movie is based on a novel by Elinor Lipman and is currently scheduled to hit theaters on April 25th, in limited release.
